Hey everyone! I just got hired by a gift shop to make 350 Christmas ornaments...

...and they have to be done by Black Friday><

Holy sheezit!!!

While I'm EXTREMELY happy for this project, it unfortunately means that I'm not going to be around much. It also means that "Night Fire" is on hold until I get done with the ornaments. As much as I can't wait to get chapter 51 out, I want the money even more.

We have decided to hold off climbing Kilimanjaro (not that I've spoken much about that here). We were watching ROTF the other day and the scene with Petra came on and I just sat in awe of it and made a comment that I would go back to Petra instead of climbing Kilimanjaro in a heartbeat. My husband has never really been that fond of the Kilimanjaro trip, so he jumped on that like those damn frogs to my caterpillars. And he hasn't let me forget it; LOL! *sigh*

So, I've looked into going back to Jordan and while we're there we might as well go to Egypt (Egypt is close, but not within visual by any stretch of the imagination...There's that little problem of the Sinai Peninsula being in the way. Michael Bay is such a silly man) But anyway, it's an hour's flight from Amman to Cairo (maybe 1.5 hours), so if I'm going to be flying across the Atlantic again, I'm going to see all I can (I hate flying like Indiana Jones hates snakes).

I've been to Petra twice and Egypt three times. After Turkey, they are certainly my favorite places in the world to go to. My husband has never been, however, so it will be fantastic to see his reactions to it all. I feel like I could practically give the tour and am completely comfortable going to everything on my own, so we have no need for a guided tour company (there are usually a minimum of 20 people with you on those and that kind of travel is so...limiting), but we will need a driver/translator (as I've never bothered to learn Arabic, silly me). So, these ornaments are going to pay for that

There is one chapter I'm beta reading for P.A.W.07 . I think I'm still on track to get that to you sometime tomorrow. It might be tomorrow afternoon/early evening, so I hope that's okay.

And Faecat sent me something to look at. I know you update like the wind, so please forgive me for not being able to get to that today. I'll look over it tonight and email you tomorrow.

And Trailsmaagirl sent me a question that I'm still pondering...Maybe the defibrillator would work...Is the character deprived of energy because he/she is infected with something or is it a battlefield injury? (I know you probably don't want to give anything away by discussing this here, so I'll send you an email. I just wanted you to know that I got your email and haven't forgotten about you.)
