I was on the set of Transformers 3 in Washington DC on Oct. 12, 2010. I got a ton of photos!

Ironhide can eat that car!

The roof just barely comes up to his wheel wells!

I like the Roller-looking vehicle in the foreground there too. It's just a camera moving thing, but it would be neat if they had Roller

I bet Ironhide wouldn't even see a car the size of Dino coming! He'd just change lanes and roll right over him.

DINO!!!!!!! OMFG!

That's Dino! The red one. Well, it's actually, Mirage but Michael effed up the movie by killing Ironhide and renaming Mirage and Wheeljack Dino and Que respectively.

They did have him as Mirage in the book, but he died. They didn't have his death in the movie, but it explains why he's nowhere around by the end there. I guess they figured there was too much death already. I was disappointed by all the gratuitous needless deaths, but I guess that makes it like real war. Maybe we didn't need that much 'realism,' though.

I personally think the death was just overkill. And Mirage/Dino was around at the end. He was on Sam's side of the bridge. But yeah, too much death. Starscream's death was absolutely fine because I think he is a w*nker but Ironhide and even Shockwave just overkill. Didnt't he kill off the Arcee unit in the second movie? Jolt wasn't even in this one.

Me too. Arcee is supposedly dead as well as Jolt, all died in the comics. At least they showed Dino there at the end. I didn't notice, so I'll be looking for him next time I see it.
