TF3: Optimus Prefers Goodyear by Letohatchee TF3: Optimus Prefers Goodyear by Letohatchee
I was on the set of Transformers 3 in Washington DC on Oct. 12, 2010. I took a ton of photos!

Optimus Prime's right front tire. He obviously prefers Goodyear;) And how fortuitous that it's perfectly right side up:)

Enjoy!

There are more Transformers 3 'behind the scenes' photos in my gallery.

Here is a link to my video on YouTube of the explosions they set off later while filming:

DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS FOR ANYTHING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I am serious about art theft, so don't even think about it. If you want to show your friends, you can fave this on your dA account and show them, or give them the link

What's great is that I saw Optimus here back in April when he was in East Chicago [The Magestic Star cement factory lot, spesifically,] and he was missing it then, too.

He actually LOST it on that site, I was the one who pointed it out to one of the crew. He was missing the lugnut then and then someone from the Casino who was doing some phtography a month or so later found it. He never said anything about it because it was just something you don't say.

If it wasn't for the fact that he worked with my father, I never would have known.

The missing lugnut is currently in Magestic Star property, for all that I know. My father lost his job soon after that, so I don't know where it is, now.

How interesting, though!

Did you know that people seem to be interested in that lugnut cover for some reason? This photo even ended up on another website without my permission and I had a heck of a time getting it taken off. They ended up putting a link in the place of the photo, but at least it comes back to the original.

At any rate, I didn't even realize the lugnut was missing when I took this photo. I was focusing on the tire. It wasn't until someone stole the photo and used it to point out the missing cover that I realized there was some sort of weird drama going on about the darn thing.

That's interesting that it was lost in Chicago, though, and that's cool that you were there and noticed it. It's also interesting that it was still missing when they got to DC. I guess they never ordered another one.

Thanks for the comment and the fave:heart:

Oh yes, actually it was FROM that site that I got here. I clicked the link and didn't mean to open the tab, but I had to mention the thing about the lugnut. It's just too funny.

It bothers me that they never replaced it, though; how irritating and lazy. I bet a bunch of people will be pointing it out too.

Yes, I thought it was funny that I'm almost personally connected to the anticvs of a crazy person, and I can personally show that said person is a liar, but this photo does that.

Excellent photo, and well deserved.

I don't particularly care one way or the other (I don't mean about your experiences on set, but about the antics of a crazy person). Thankfully, that has no bearing on my life. I don't appreciate being inadvertently thrown into the drama simply because I took what I thought was an artistic shot of something. One person in particular keeps addressing this 'crazy person' in his/her comments of my deviations. It is just so much negativity that makes all of these people seem crazy to me. I've never even heard of any of these people until I posted this photo. Now I get negative comments from one of them in particular as if I'm somehow associated? Yea, that's not cool...not cool at all:(

But, I am happy that you like the photo:)

Well, why don't you delete this deviation and put it back up? then the link will lead to a dead deviation page and you won't be associated anymore. C:

Because they have a copy they haven't removed in their archive on ED (Tama does (I have a link to it from before when the copy was posted)). I asked her to remove it, but she says she can't (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense).

If I remove this deviation, all she'd have to do is repost the stolen photo like she did before and there'd be no proof that the original one had a post date older than the copy. The only proof that the photo is mine would be the watermark, but that older post-date will still be lost.

I feel a small sense of victory that she agreed to put up the link instead (because she didn't give me a choice, making it clear this was going to be used one way or the other), so I also feel she's holding on to that archived copy just in case I do as you suggested. It's a crappy situation all the way around and, for now, I'm just glad nothing is linked to that stolen archived copy.

At least having the link brings people back to the original and conversations like this one will show people how I feel about it.

Well, alright then. I am sorry you feel this way about this, and it is unfortunate that this has occurred to you. I hope you feel no ill will toward me for it.

Oh goodness, no, I don't feel any ill will towards you or anybody else  You guys are mad at someone. That's understandable.

However, I have nothing to do with it. I just don't like the negative comments on my deviations where someone addresses someone else that they obviously hate and barely say a nice thing about my deviation at all. All I ask is that people not bring their quarrels to my site. And I especially ask that people not steal my stuff to try and prove that someone else is a thief; that makes them thieves too.
