Darkened the picture to bring out the detail and was able to bring it into better focus. This is Ironhide from the 2007 Transformers Movie. I drew this with a #2 mechanical pencil, .7mm lead, free hand. It took 4 hours to draw. OMG, I bow to anyone who has drawn or even attempted to draw this mech. I was amazed at how much more difficult his is to draw than Optimus. There are so many angles and the shading had to be done for better detail on this one. Again, not a steady hand when it comes to straight lines and curves, but I find that, with this particular drawing, it worked for me. Enjoy! March 2008 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
