Artist's Comments
This is Jazz from the 2007 Transformers movie. He took 5 hours to draw. I used two mechanical pencils: one with .5mm lead and one with .7mm lead. I darkened it a little in photoshop so that the pencil shows up better.
Several of my watchers have been asking when I would draw Jazz. I thank you all for the encouragement. I know it has been a long time, but I was having a hard time figuring out what Jazz looked like. There are several versions of what he looks like in the movie. Optimus, Ironhide, Bumblebee, and Ratchet all seemed to keep their look no matter where they showed up (whether that be comic, toys, the movie, etc., etc.). Jazz, however, has an entirely different look on the toy package for him versus the GMC advertisements with his image on them. I just wasn't sure what he looked like, to be honest. So, this is what I did: I took the image of the toy, the image of him in the Saga comics, and the image of him on the GMC advertisements and culled out what I liked best about each image. This drawing is a unique drawing putting together every best possible feature that I could find about him. I'm fairly happy with the way he turned out. I hope everyone likes it! Enjoy! |

But this is AWESOME!! I've noticed that too...even in the video game or in the movie (had to freeze frame just to get a good look) all the Jazz's for the movie have looked a little different...
